For the September 2015 issue of School Band and Orchestra, I penned an article called "Playing Both Sides of the Horn: Approaching the Saxophone as a Classical and Jazz Instrument." If you know younger players, this is a good introduction to the things to consider when attempting to be a great all-around saxophonist.
